The sheriff's online records-request form requires requester name, email, address, and a description of the records. Optional fields accept case numbers, a starting and ending date, incident location, and involved names. It shows no fee, delivery choice, certification box, ID upload, or promised turnaround. A mailed Sunshine Law request may use the same Vine Street address. No records fax or drop box is published.
A narrow request for a named report, date range, location, and known case number gives the custodian a workable search.

The Nodaway County roster exposes only a small part of that inventory. A focused records request is needed for omitted details, and the arresting agency may apply lawful redactions. Maryville's official police blotter adds context that the county roster does not. The city says its archive reflects actual reports or investigations initiated by police, but it leaves out calls found unfounded or not requiring a report. It also warns that charges are not convictions and can be amended or dismissed. Under the city's published records policy, arrest and incident reports are generally open while active investigative reports usually remain closed. If an arrested person is not charged within 30 days, the arrest report then closes except for its disposition portion and statutory exceptions.

A person no longer listed may have been released, transferred, or moved into another system. Search Case.net for filed Nodaway County charges, request an older booking record, and check Missouri DOC only when state custody or supervision is plausible. Nodaway Patrol Arrest Window

Arrests Are Not Convictions
An arrest record proves that an agency documented custody or an arrest event. It does not prove guilt. A conviction requires a court judgment after a guilty plea or verdict. In Nodaway County, the report can remain with the sheriff, Maryville police, campus police, or MSHP; a booking entry belongs to the county jail; and the filed case belongs to the Circuit Clerk. Note: A Nodaway County arrest is not proof of guilt, and a booking charge may never become the charge filed in court.
After a Nodaway County Arrest
